How We Can Help
Mrs Gardiner, our in-house ELSA, is on the yard every morning and afternoon except Wednesdays if anybody wants to speak with her for support with a wide range of issues you may be facing. See our ELSA page for more information.
For an informal setting, she also runs a weekly drop-in coffee morning every Friday - all are welcome.
How You Can Help
There are many ways in which you can help your child/children throughout their time at Ramsden Primary School. Even little things can make a big difference.

-
Ensure your child's name is written in all of their belongings.
-
Keep a note of which days they need PE kits, spelling books, homework, etc. (Stated on class newsletters)
-
Talk to your child about what they have been learning about at school.
-
Listen to your child read for at least 5 minutes every night and talk about what they have read.
-
Ask them to explain homework tasks to you.
-
Have a look at work on their Class Blog and leave a comment.
-
Sign into to your Parent Seesaw account to help you communicate with your children's teachers and view their online learning journals.
-
Make sure they get enough sleep and have some breakfast.

If you have more time in the day free and would like to help in school?
-
Would you be able to listen to readers?
-
We often have gardening days in the holidays.
-
Could you help with any of the Ramsden events?
Any and all help is thoroughly appreciated!
