Seesaw

Once your child is registered in school, they will be provided with their own login to their own online learning journal

Seesaw is an app that allows pupils and teachers to capture images, videos, and more and save them on an online portfolio.  It can be accessed on both mobile devices and computers via web-based browsers at school and at home.  Teachers can set activities and challenges and share children's work and achievements with linked family members at home.

Seesaw also has a messaging feature for communication between teachers and parents to relay relevant curriculum information and notices for their class.

For FAQs and troubleshooting about your Seesaw account, you can find lots of information here: Seesaw Help

If this doesn't solve the problem, you can also ask Mrs Dixon.

At Ramsden, we believe successful children are successful because of the breadth of experiences they have had.  Our homework activities are therefore based on trying to encourage parents to broaden their children's horizons through our Branching Out scheme.

Online Learning

Children are assessed by the Government on their phonic skills in Year One, and their multiplication tables in Year Four.  To help practice these skills at home, here are some recommended apps and websites.
